Forgot one of the big names...Michael Griffin. He is under contract to make 8 million for 2014 so he will have to either renegotiate his contract or probably will become a cap casualty

In reply to two of the posts...

I like Battle also. I like the types of running backs that have the defense dragging themselves up off the ground after a tackle. That pays huge dividends later in the game. Pound the defense until they don't want to take hits anymore, then throw in a jet like CJ to take advantage of them. With CJ, it is him dragging himself off the ground and shaking himself off. Defense is still fresh and hitting hard in the 4th quarter.

    The 2nd post...
I really like Washington as well. He is deadly on third downs. He almost always comes down with the play when it is crucial. I would target him much more often.

Why? There were many this year, and his name never came up.

He's been considered a HC candidate for the past two seasons... He is going to become a HC soon. It will more than likely happen next season.

Anyone still have the link to that site that let us play around with the salary cap? cut players and see how much $ it saves?

Well when you put it that way I'm in favor of all your suggested cuts. I would really like to hold on to CJ though. If he sucks this coming season I would be comfortable with cutting him afterwards. I like the guy but if cutting him makes it easier to get the pieces we need then so be it I guess. Griffin will definitely be ripe for cutting next season as well. Gotta draft and groom his replacement soon though.
