I watch every game as well and I have a hard time seeing the terrible O-line I see so much complaining about. I mean, just how long is an O-line supposed to hold a hole open or a defender at bay? It isnt long. Those defenders are pros as well.

CJ needs to hit the hole faster, we need to use Shonn Greene more, and we need to be less predictable!

 

I know I wasn't the only one that thought Lendale White was our new defensive coordinator for a sec.

 

Yes, but they were in the bottom third in scoring defense (which is what counts most) and 30th in red zone defense. Not good. I'll take an overall look at their D and his past defenses to be fair.

And as I keep mentioning, a team's scoring defense is always going to suck if they have some of the worst QBs in the league. If the Browns throw a pick 6 on offense that ends up going against their scoring defense. And while there probably weren't a ton of pick 6's I know for a fact there were a ton of points off turnovers... some of that is unavoidable. Defenses can't do it all especially when they are on the field all the time because of an inept offense.

30th in redzone scoring is concerning, but I hope that's more due to a lack of talent with the Browns than anything else. What did he rank in redzone defense in 2011 and 2012 with the Cardinals?

I for one am excited about Horton.

 

lol @ people claiming our O-Line was "fine" this past season. No. Better than 2012? Yes. Fine? No.
