Thats been eggheads achillis heel. He chokes in the big one. Ya, hes won some but that inability to handle the big game still surfaces from time to time. I just know i LOVED watching him humiliated. Maybe because i am a TN transplant. When i moved here i think he was a JR at UT. You could not take a dump without hearing about him

So he graduates and some no name qb comes in and goes u defeated and wins the championship. LOl.

Seriously....I don't understand how people read these sites and even pretend the content has any credibility. Just because they make claims means nothing more than the reader is sitting there laughing at his web counter and hollering "suckas!"

And we actually start a thread about it.....

IMO this is a symptom of "living in the abyss". There is nothing really to talk about for a few weeks (until the combine, then draft, etc.). When there is not much to discuss this type of stuff rises to the top.

Exactly why the NFL couldn't let the broncos win! It would have been too obvious. So instead of a superbowl win they let peyton just break all the regular season records.

So let me get this straight Peyton Manning who legacy was on the line, NFL poster boy of conduct, signed I don't know how many $100M contracts? Earns $20M per year for how many years? And he throws the game for large sums of money?

People just don't think!!! I'm so mad ANYONE with a brain believes it! For starters as a coach Pete wouldn't even have enough money to buy Peyton's used Jock strap! IJS!!!

The inability of some people to immediately recognize B.S. is baffling to me. Maybe we need to start teaching critical thinking in school.

This is why the Internet should not be accessible to just anyone.

The bye week gave Seattle the edge. And the moment yet again proved to be too big for Peyton. I personally thought he outgrew the nerves part of the game, but coming into a Super Bowl is totally foreign to football players. Never at any point are the settings the same as the days leading to the Super Bowl.

I kind of think experience is overrated in the Super Bowl now. Its just such a rare moment for player theres no way going into as a 10 year pro helps you, you really dont know WTF youre in for.

I heard a dozen or so former players talking about the 2 weeks they had to put into the game, they didn't enjoy it at all, nothing was the same to them as the other postseason games.

Well there's their out, you can't hold them to anything since they published that in their terms and conditions. Why not make crazy stories up for ***** and giggles...

That nobody your thinking of is Tee Martin.

He was actually a pretty good college QB. I liked him.
