Speed. IMO. Can make up for issues while learning. Too slow means yea you can be in the right spot but zero ability to make up for mistakes.

The thing about CJ is that he is hard to like. All he has is his on the field production.

Every time he opens his mouth, its a disaster.

Even back during his good year, he sounded like he was talking with a gerbil in his mouth. Once he got his contract, he got phonics and interviews were bearable.

The problem is he will not shut the hell up. Every season he has something to say that pisses everyone off

"its the line" (even if it was)

"Fans dont know anything, they just care about fantasy football" (there you go, bash your fan base, retard)

"Give me the ball more or get rid of me" (earn your carries like everyone else in the NFL, crybaby)

He alienated himself from the fans here in TN by his own doing and his own words.

I don't like that he threw the line under the bus or that he said "feed me or I go bye bye" since both were selfish things to say. The one about the fans though? I don't think he was talking about Titans fans specifically just fantasy football people who probably have him on their team all over the country. I can imagine that these fantasy football people hounding you because their team lost can get very old very fast. I've heard other players say similar things and I agree with them too.

Personally I think fans for the most part are thin skinned. They always have this faux outrage about every little comment a guy makes. We want our athletes to be candid and not give canned responses but when they do we get on our high horse, don our monocle and promptly pop it out in outrage. It's pathetic. I don't even like Sherman but were those little comments really worth the media firestorm that ensued? If I was a pro athlete I would probably hate most fans.

I agree. In most all offenses, you're better off to have AP due to his powerful running. CJ can light sh*t up in the right offense too though. I do believe the Titans had the right idea bring a powerful runner in to spell CJ. Now, they need Whis to figure out how to get CJ in open space more often if they choose to keep him.

A 10 win team in the same division as the 49ers and Hawks. He will go where he gets the most money.

I see what you're saying, but he didn't do that until everyone alienated him first. He responded to being blamed almost entirely by many fans for his production drop when he didn't feel it was his fault. Hell, he only said what everyone knew he was thinking. It was bad choices to say it publicly though.
