Should the Titans restructure Roos?

Yea I follow, and thats why I said its still a bad idea.

We've had Otto now for how long? He ran a 4.9 40 but still sucks to this day....

 

None of the failures have been drafted by wiz or ruston, right? I have a lot of faith in ruston's ability to get us the pieces we need. That's why I don't think it would be a bad idea. But, yes in the past our late round tackles have sucked big time.

 

Ruston is better than Reinfeldt yes, but still by the 6th round, any signs of talent are gone.

The last 2 rounds make good places to find FB's and kickers not Tackles you expect to protect the franchise QB

 

Saints once got Cark Nicks in the 5th, thats really the latest you can go for a starting lineman (or a future starter)

 

alright, I've moved to only wanting a tackle this year in the first two rounds and waiting til next year to get that 3, 4 or 5th round backup

 

With the #11 pick we need an impact pass rusher or a stud inside backer. Tackle is not as immediate of a need as those two are. We could still go tackle in the 2nd round this year or find a decent cheap one in free agency to plug in for a few years until we draft a new one.

If we go anything other than pass rusher (guy who can pressure QB AND get 10+ sacks) or an inside linebacker we are doing it wrong.

 

10 sacks is a lot for a rookie. But I agree with you for the most part

 

What I meant was some one who will be capable of achieving that feat. Hey if they could do it as a rookie even better for us.

 

I hope we grab Mosley. I know I know another Alabama boy, but man he doesn't play around when it's time to tackle. He seems to read running lanes great as well. That is a big problem our linebackers had last season. I can't tell you how many times I saw a linebacker shoot the wrong running lane. I just think Mosley could definitely fit inside really well.

 

Roos definitely isn't top 5 anymore. He is still serviceable, but you can tell he is declining.

No way in hell I'd give him 3 more years. Let him play out his contract. We won't want him after next year.
