As an Ole Miss grad, I watched almost all his games. He was an electric player but didn't really excel until the moved him to RB exclusively. He had home run speed and won games by himself due to kickoff returns and long TD runs. He is a good guy that will come in ready to help and not just get paid which will be refreshing. He was and is extremely popular in Oxford.

I was glad to see him get drafted high in the 2nd round, but felt is was the wrong place for him. He really hasn't gotten many opportunities in the backfield with Charles there. He had a good year when Charles torn his ACL; rushing for more yards than Thomas Jones that year (actually Jackie Battle led the team.) He fails to get separation on the outside due to his size, but catch the ball unlike CJ.

I don't think Dex's best days in the NFL are behind him. I think it says a lot that this was Whiz's first FA signing. If we don't draft a RB with the first couple of picks or get Tate, we could be talking about more than a ST stud and gadget receiver. A role similar to Woodhead of last year is exciting to me as a homer. Thanks

How are we going to use McCluster, after CJ just came out this season being frustrated and under utilized I'm curious to see what we use him for. This could certainly mean the end for CJ, but I just hope that we can find ways to get our new signee the ball.

Am confused as to the Washington signing now. McCluster is a younger better version of him.

So you don't even know how he'll be used in our new offense under Whisenhunt and we're already getting screwed in FA? I'm a bit skeptic over this move as well and would be even more so under the last regime but considering this was our first move I'm holding out to see his role on the team before throwing the signing under the bus.

It's not that hard to figure out. He's going to be used in the Woodhead/Stephens-Howling role. And yes, we're getting screwed.

He was drafted as a RB and played RB at Ole Miss. KC moved him to WR to get him on the field more. This guy will be a better and younger Sproles type. He will be a great asset with Greene and Battle plus he can return punts.

Washington is a great addition...He will most likely be a kick returner and Dexter does PR...or Washington does all and DM offensive weapon only...Bottom line, depth and options at a low price. Great move!
