You obviously haven't followed the team very closely.

We've been money on deciding when to let players walk.

Verner is not an irreplaceable player. I don't really know if he can repeat the year he had. Not to say he will suck but I just don't think he will repeat those numbers.

Honestly, losing Verner this way is pretty damn disappointing.

    4 years / 26 million?!? That's it?!?

I see it 2 ways though.. Some saying the Titans misread his market.. But at the same time.. noway Verner would have taken this exact deal before free agency opened.. surely he/his agent thought his market was significantly higher (especially after Shields & Davis got their deals)..

If we indeed got aggressive after the Tampa offer.. Maybe he was upset we never even made an offer.. Maybe it was too late and he hit it off with Lovie Smith..

It stings to lose Verner to such little $, but it isn't the end of the world. We can still upgrade our defense. Let's grab Woodley, Hatcher, Woods, Smith Woodyard... 2 or 3 of those and our D will improve even sans Verner.

Verner initially wanted more than the Titans would offer, guessing his value would be in the 8-9M/year range and the Titans refused to offer that. Verners value were on decline throughout the tampering period (which I don't quite understand, compared to the other turds getting paid), the Titans matched his real market value, but Verner decided to move on.
I have no grudge against either side, we have young(er) guys ready to step up.

Yeah, because where a kid went to school really f*cking matters.

Cortland Finnegan was pretty good at one time. He went to Samford. DRC was pretty good at one time.
He went to TSU. Revis was pretty decent. He went to Pitt...who played in the same conference as UCONN.

You sir, are dumb as sh*t.
