Is there some type of scrub quota we're obligated to meet this off-season or something?

Maybe D Will doesn't want to come back knowing he wont be anything other than a no.4? I was checking out the FA WR, its awful. Not many people out there that can come in and help. He was supposed the be the no.2 in Detroit. I see no problem with him coming to be our no.4. Its not like he will be starting or anything. Our no.4 wr is about the 7/8 option in our offense

How is a No.4 WR the 8th option when there are only 5 outlets on any given play, 6 if you consider a scramble an option.

I didn't mean per play. I meant in the offense as a hole. 3 wr, te, McCluster, 2 RB, maybe qb rush. He wont be a player that we have to rely on very often. There is not anything much better out there.

I'd rather keep Dwill than that bum.

Why are we still looking at offense? We need to work on the D. We need more linemen and linebackers. I'm surprised we didn't make a run at any of the big name pass rushers.

We can cut CJ and Stewart and all that, but it won't do us any good if we're sitting with 10 million in cap space some August. I'm not liking what I'm seeing thus far.

Isn't this draft loaded with WR talent? Like the deepest in decades? Why don't we just draft a falling WR late or scoop up a few promising UDFAs to battle it out in camp instead of pumping money into a vet?

Because we only have 6 picks and most will be used on defense since we're switching to a 3-4.

Also our current depth chart is...

    1. Wright
    2. Washington
    3. Hunter
    4. Preston

uhhhhh McCluster sorta uhhhhh that's it.

He'll probably cost near the same as D-Will. Also, like another poster mentioned, why do people even consider Williams a lock to come back? Wright and Hunter have the future on lock and we have Nate under contract for a couple more years. Why not seek a better opportunity somewhere else?

A late round pick more than likely won't do anything for us next year. We need another proven guy if one of our top 3 guys goes down.

Only offensive addition I'm interested in seeing is OT.

If it's like a 2yr/2mil deal i'd take him as a #4 WR, nothing more.
