Good I'm glad comments like that are made.

I think there is a good chance Whisenhunt and staff get Oher's mind right and negative comments by other teams are exactly the motivation that can be used to do that.

I personally didnt mind Stingly. Roos is aging. Dont like the thought of Oher at LT,but he can flip if something were to happen. Its a good signing. People really overthinking this. I wanna know how these Web Sites rate ones run blocking too. I laugh when I see these rankings.

I have faith in oher. Now that he's closer to home, that little white boy can train him again.

Does Oher vs. Watt/Clowney scare you anymore than Stewart vs. Watt/Clowney? It doesn't me.

We most likely weren't getting a RT this offseason (through FA or the draft) who can routinely hang with that caliber of DLman anyway. So I don't really see that as a reason to dislike the signing. I believe he'll be an upgrade to Stewart (although only time will tell). And that's really all that matters here.

According to ProFootballFocus, Oher was the last ranked tackle in run blocking out of 72 tackles and was 46/72 when it came to pass blocking.

I think he has the skill if motivated and I think our new coaching staff can get some more out of him.

It doesn't matter who the GM was. It's what Bud wanted.

Like posted the comparable as soon as he came up. Him and country are about as equally bad. It's a meh signing and hopefully he magically turns it on.

Bottom line is this staff/FO must see something they like in him or they wouldn't have signed him. Perhaps he's simply a better fit for the system we're going to run? Or maybe they just realize Stewart is toast and they're trying to make the best out of bad situation. It's not as if there was exactly a ton of elite OT talent out there. And the draft is always a crapshoot. I think Whis/Webster had bigger plans for #11 overall than a freaking RT.

This forum's been awful complain-ey since FA started. And this coming from me so you know it's bad.
