Bortles? Who knows.. Based on what? The superior talent he played against? All those great defenses in the what ever the hell division II conference he played in? Dont get me wrong... I like Bortles. But to just say he is better ... well .. it can only be based on 1 thing. ...Size. Its isnt talent, stats or play.

Jake Locker just wasn't a very good prospect. He went top 10 in a weak class to a team that was desperate. Manziel, Bortles, Carr, Garropolo,Murray, and a bunch of other QB's in this class are all better prospects than he was. We'd be better served with any of those guys under center than with Jake. It pains me to say it because it means we have to start our QB search all over but it's what I believe.

The competition wasn't top notch but he looked quite good against Louisville & Baylor.

He has a smooth delivery and the mobility to pick up yards with his legs ala Roethlisberger or Luck. Yes a lot of it has to do with ideal height & build but I saw a lot more than that. He throws well on the run. His ball placement is pretty good; it has room for improvement, but that should be easy since it's already good. He doesn't have elite arm strength but its good. He throws in tight windows pretty well; not perfect, and it's lead to INTs, but again, its good with small room for improvement. He definitely needs to do a better job looking off defenders. I'd say his knack to telegraph his throw at times is his worst asset.

He's far from a perfect prospect, and isn't even a top 5 (maybe not top 10) player in this draft, but I think his skill set is the best of the QB class as far as how he'll progress. I think he does almost everything pretty good, and the improvements needed are pretty slight, leading me to believe he'll have no problem reaching his potential.

Jake put UW on the map? Jake went a full season without a win while there homie. 10-21 was his career record but yeah he really put them on the map. Really showed up for that bowl game he finally took them too as well huh? Had a solid 5-16 game passing. He better have kissed his defenses ass. Measurables? It's good this game isn't played via measurables.

90's do you hear yourself. It is 2014 now wake up.

Umm Jake is consistently injured. Sorry that is no longer bad luck that is just injury prone. 1 complete football season in 7 years and it wasn't in the big leagues.

Manziel may not be injury prone yet, but he will be in the NFL IMO. No way he runs this much and doesn't get banged up.

HOW DO YOU LOVE MANZIEL!? HE'S A SHORT PUNK WHO CAN'T MAKE THROWS IN THE POCKET.

HOW DO YOU HATE MANZIEL!? HE WINS AND CAN PUT OUR TEAM ON THE MAP.

Okay but here's the real question, how are some of you anti Locker guys so pro Manziel?

Now personally, I think Manziel will have some success in the NFL but it's going to come in streaks. I don't care about his off field issues or how he's perceived, I actually love it. What I don't understand is how the guys who are ready to see Locker gone are ready for another similar QB to come in. Obviously Locker didn't have the same college production but they're both mobile guys with accuracy concerns, health concerns (size for Manziel, past for Locker), and similar love/hate guys by the scouts.

If Titans drafted Manziel I would actually be really excited, skeptical as hell, but excited nonetheless. I just find it odd that the guys who are ready to move on would have their arms wide open for a guy like Manziel.

Not anti Locker but if Johnny FOOTBALL falls to 11 the Titans would be fools not to take Manziel. PERIOD. If you disagree you are a moron. I am out.

I don't even know why you guys are discussing this. Manziel will not be on the board when we pick at 11. The only way to get him is to trade up to the number 2 pick. That is assuming the Texans don't take him first overall....which would be a huge mistake so hopefully they will.
