What am I gonna do with that now. I guess predator will need a New Jersey.

In all honestly I'm torn about it, CJ was my favorite player but obviously new era, new attitude and the numbers weren't there anymore.

I appreciate all the fun games and highlight reel plays he brought us and I think a lot of times the guy got undeserved hate on here partially for the way he spoke and his attitude/clothes. A lot of people on here acted like it was their money involved with this guy. I hope he goes on to succeed and think well move on nicely through the draft.

I'm sure there will be a new target next year for frustrated fans and message board football GMs to slam every loss next year.

I think you'll find that fans that liked CJ are Titans fans. It would make sense considering that's the only team he's played for thus far.

CJ is my favorite Titan of all time but it was time to part ways. I just wish they had waited until after the draft, just to be sure they got one of the RBs they wanted. If there is a run on RBs in the 3rd round and the 5 or 6 guys they wanted are all gone, then they're in a bad spot. It would have only been another month and realistically what are the chances CJ gets hurt working out? One of his biggest attributes was that he was always healthy, so I doubt an injury while working out would have happened.

Not when they try to justify his lack of performance and worth over the needs of the team with bs they aren't.....

I was 100% behind CJ for a long time, his lack of play and attitude the past few years really changed my opinion of him. I don't really care what he does now to be honest, because I like the Titans more than I did CJ, even in his prime.

If not for the holdout, he would have been a few million poorer, but would have had a sterling reputation with fans. He took the money route, and I would have too, if I were him. But it came with a cost, and I'm sure he was fully aware of that.

For that kind of money, people expected the world from him, and he didn't really deliver after 2009. a "good" RB season wasn't good enough. He was supposed to be tops.

To think from his perspective, he was very smart. He has under a decade to make all the money he's going to make in his life. He does not have a way with words, so broadcasting is out of the question. He's not a HOF player, so it's not like he can sell autographs and make a living. Not a good rapper, and not enough of a celebrity to have his own career in that, or a reality show.

he had to make money while he could.. and he did.
