Who do you want the Texans to take at #1?

    I've been thinking lately about who I want the Texans to take with the #1 pick and what is the best case scenario for the Titans and the rest of the AFC South. After going over the possibilities and thinking about the players that could realistically be taken there, I hope they take Teddy Bridgewater.

    But, if I were the Texans, I would take Clowney at #1 and take McCarron or Garoppolo at #33. That is a scary prospect to me, if the Texans go that direction. I can't imagine having to face Watt and Clowney twice a year.

    What about you guys? Who do you hope they take at #1 (realistically, not a punter or long snapper)? What is the most realistic, best case scenario for the Titans and the rest of the AFC South?

    Best scenario for us in my opinion is they take Johny Manziel (not gonna happen). I hope they take any of the quarterbacks available with that first pick.

    Best case for tn is they take a player that ends.up being a bust. I hope they steer away from drafting mack, I see him being.the least likely to bust. Also hope they don't go qb, this will be one less.team.taking one so we can get our.guy.

    I want them to take Clowney so the QBs slide.

    Or

    Take Bortles and the elite defensive players slide.

    I want them to take Clowney because even if he doesn't bust he'll just be adding to an already great O-line. Pass rush is a huge part of the game but it's likely easier to gameplan against a big time pass rush than it is against a big time QB which might happen if they take one of the top 3 guys. Also if Clowney pans out it'll make it more likely that they let Watt walk when his current contract is up.

    Im hoping Bortles. Dont want to deal w Clowney/Watt combo. I think Bortles is a poormans Luck, who is overrated. Obviously.

    I hope they take 1 of the QBs because I don't think anyone is worth a #1 pick

    But if you told me Clowney & Bortles/Manziel all turn out elite, I'm going to give them the DE for our benefit. No franchise QB plz.

    Didn't think about the money issue, now a def want them to go clowney. I also just don't think clowney is going to be great, call me crazy but his attitude just rubs me the wrong way.
