Try to trade him, if no trade happens...

Let him play out his final year and hope against hope that he thrives in Horton's new defense...

If he's just average again, let him go via free agency and get a compensatory pick in return.

 

Qb hurries or "pressure" does create plays. Inaccurate passes, sacks, interceptions.

 

If you aren't a Hall of Famer making league minimum, you are garbage.

 

That's what it seems like.

 

Idt morgan is a bad player at all, he's a guy that helps the team play better, I like that. I just don't really see him translating into a olb or bulking up enough to play on the line in a 3-4. This year he will find a role because we are transitioning into the 3-4 (running a hybrid). But if we get a good offer for a mid 3rd or better and coaches see what I see we gotta pull the trigger. I may be wrong and he ends up fitting in just fine, just don't know yet.

Also we have philips and wimbley who have already been successful as 3-4 olbs and ayers or even brown that could also be good in that role.

 

I'm with ya on this one. I like Morgan.

 

My only gripe with Morgan is an ancient one

He basically took off his rookie year healing up for the NFL. Then decided to go touring instead of hitting the rehab hard like a pro.

But hes not the first one to play that nonsense. Seems to be a much better pro now that his rookie contract is about up - go figure

at least he hasent pubically stated his goal for the year is to remain healthy like cris Brown did heading into his contract year

 

I don't know if its that easy :/ Trying to trade a player and fail could result in a messy situation if he stays.
