BTW, even if he still had his speed of old, the way he dances in the backfield, and how he doesn't lower his shoulder and play hard, would ultimately effect his game all around. Outside of being durable and not missing time, the league has figured him out, and he hasn't been anything special..(hence his FA market that was clearly beating down the door for him). Wake up, speed isn't everything....

Define early. They've already stated they aren't interested in a corner or RB.

They said they aren't interested in a RB/CB in the 1st round. My guess is that they take one in RD 2 because they don't have a 3rd, and the position may be diluted by the 4th. Too much depth at the position and would be plain stupid to take a RB in the 1st, when they can grab a starter later.

He is 1 of only 5 rb's in NFL history to have at least a 1000 yards in his first 6 straight seasons. He has the best chance to make the HOF than any Titan player in a long time. You shouldn't pull against him so much.

No chance we take a RB in the second.

    A) He won't make the HOF...Mainly because he never won or did anything special other than 1 season, which has since been beat. B) He was handed the ball a trillion times, so he should clear 1k, that is nothing special, he isn't the only player to do so. C) I used to love CJ, and I did have a ton of fun watching him in his prime. I have no respect for him anymore because of his arrogance, and inability to work with the franchise that put him on the map and overpaid him the past few years. They literally did EVERYTHING to help him, and he just pointed fingers and crapped on the organization. I have every right as a Titans fan to feel that way, and I am not alone. He gave very little effort and wanted out last year. I am a Titans fan before a CJ fan, and I am glad he is out, and happy that we can witness some new life on this team.

Well I have over 14k post here and you have 400....

I was going to suggest a portion of the bet (say $25) would go to GoTitans tip jar. That way if one of us welches (which would only be you, since i wouldn't) then he would be banned from the forum (until he pays).

But that would probably matter a little more to me than you not sure.

I would say keep it a reasonable amount of money. If we want to make it really difficult we can try to find a 3rd party we agree on to hold it in a paypal account and then pay out...

False. What makes you think he is an up and coming star? Carlos Hyde, Jeremy Hill: Those are up and coming stars.

It is important to note that CJ with lost speed is still the fastest relevant RB in the game.
