So yes. I think Murray might become a serviceable starter.. But maybe on the late second tier of Qb. Andy dalton level?

I think Bridgewater considering his tape could be a high second tier to low first tier. Matt Ryan? Upside of possibly Rodgers? (Mainly considering accuracy in game on that one)

I'm totally confused about this whole QB situation. Never in my life have I been in a situation like this.

I want to give Locker one more chance under the new staff. Locker impressed me 3 or 4 games last year and I feel like if he can do it once, he can do it again.

I just don't want to select an QB with the 11th pick and then Locker shows out all next season.

The best case scenario is to draft an QB in the 4th round and let the competition begin.

If Locker doesn't impress next year, then we clearly draft an QB with our 1st pick.

But regardless that means we both have better judgement thinking we need to get a qb

I think at worst you get a Matt Ryan level of QB out of Bridewater. He doesn't strike me as a boom or bust player, and not a guy who will completely take over a game. Of all the first round QBs, I like him more than any of them. Honestly, I like him more than any of the first round QBs in quite some time......

The thing is though, thats still a good situation to be in. The downside, and its a huge downside, is what do you do with Locker?

He is clearly injury prone, he isn't a 'game manager' despite that stupid label people try to give him. He is going to take off and run with when he doesn't see anything. I stopped holding my breath last year when he dropped back to pass. I started holding my breath when he was hit. I like the guy, and I want him to succeed, but I don't think you can count on him to stay healthy enough to lead your franchise.

Taking any of the QBs in this draft at 11 is a mistake this franchise can't afford right now.

I don't think we can afford to roll into the season with Locker, Whitehurst, and Wilson. Thats asking for a load of trouble.

Exactly. We are not the cj nutswingers. Just saying that he may not be the lost cause some people are saying he is. I even think taking a qb high this year is a good idea to have a backup plan. Someqbs take more time. At one point drew brees was considered a bust. Now he s a superstar.

So while he has not shown he is a franchise qb he also is not a lost cause.

Id love to take a qb at eleven, and then have locker play all season healthy and at a level that kept a near top ten pick on the bench.
