This is why this year is his absolute do or die year. No more chances at all.

    Do you live in Cleveland?

I feel like we should be past this point already with locker. How many chances does he get? At least the Vikings know ponder is not the answer and have already moved on while we sit here and try to work with this locker project year in and year out. I have no faith in this guy to get the job done and he has proved nothing to me that he can get it done. I just hope this franchise is smart enough to know this and move on. This is a QB league and we need a QB!

Everybody should get 3 chances IMO. 2010 Verner was so-so (rookie year), 2011 Verner got better, 2012 Verner gets hot, and 2013 he explodes. If Verner wasnt given 3 seasons to prove his value youd never have seen him in 2013.

how can you compare QB to a defensive back! What logical sense does that make?? lol I have seen much better arguments out of you than this! In the words of the MFN countdown crew......... C'Mon Man!!! lol Verner played tho.... that is how he developed in to what he is today, can't say the same thing about locker and he still has accuracy problems!

He gets one more. We owe it to ourselves to make sure.

I like the guy a lot. He needs to stay healthy obviously. I also think he needs to show more leadership on the field. Take over! I think a QB is always better when he demands a certain level of performance of his teammates and scolds them when they make mistakes. A great QB is the coach in the huddle. The coach on the field of play. The guy his teammates look to for support/advice/pep talks etc and a guy they don't want to let down. Jake has looked very good at times. I definitely think Whiz will be good for Jake. I still think it's possible he could be our franchise QB if he can stay healthy and get more consistent.

In 2011 he never stared but he played very well when called upon. He nearly beat a far superior New Orleans team and rallied us on the road against Atlanta and Indy.

In 2012 the entire team was an ass disaster except the linebackers (we proceeded to fire that coach). Locker missed half the season due to injury but played halfway decently in the games he played in.

In 2013 again he played pretty well until his injuries.

I have faith that he's good enough to be our franchise QB, we just need to see if he can stay healthy. I believe this year is more of a test for his durability than his playing ability. He should be alright in that department.

Im not comparing their positions, Im comparing people. Both are competitors, both put in the study time, both have the skill, too bad you didn't see that.
