Titans Draft Needs

There are 4, maybe 5 better QBs than Murray in this draft..and I'm not even convinced its 4-5.

 

With our 11th pick I believe we'll take either Evans, Gilbert, Barr, or Ebron.

 

Barr is my guy at 11. I'm convinced. Honestly don't even know who my backup wish option is. If Barr is gone, as long as its not QB, OT or a player I feel we picked 10+ picks too early, I'll be cool.

 

I get the feeling that Barr is who we want but I don't think he'll be there. Detroit isn't going to take a corner and I suspect they'll take Barr or Evans. The only way I think we pass on Barr if he's there is if Carr is on the board and we really have decided to go QB. I wouldn't be mad at that pick. Would be really happy to land Ebron or Evans too though. No Gilbert please.

 

I'm hoping Det goes Evans or Ebron, or trades up for Watkins.

Barr could be gone by 11, but most of the teams that scare me in front of us (Buf & TB) play 4-3, where many doubt Barr is a fit. I'm holding onto the hope 4-3 teams pass on him.

 

If we stay at 11, I think we take Barr, Donald, or Ebron, assuming no one falls (like Mack, Matthews, or Manziel)

 

Drew Brees was the 2nd QB taken in the 2001 nfl draft(Vick #1 pick) and the first pick in the 2nd rd, pick 33. So where is the comparison to Murray? There is none.

The simple fact that many of you think Murray would be a great pick in rd 4 gives you away. Hardly any 4th rd picks at that position amount to anything. If he is so damn great why not take him in rd 2?

 

Where would a guy like Barr play? We have 4 candidates to play as 3-4 OLBs or as edge rushers in our nickel and dime packages. Perhaps 5.

Phillips-Wimbley-Morgan-Ayers. Then there is Edwards and perhaps Brown. So where?

The signing of Phillips and the restructuring of Wimbley's deal to keep him around suggests they are not planning on taking an edge rusher with that first pick.

We also now have 6 D-linemen under contract who are over 300 lbs and also Klug. So don't expect us to take a DT type either.
