Very few of those guys exist. There are two of them in the NFL right now: Sherman and Revis. There is a 99% chance that no matter who the CB is we would be hypothetically taking will not turn into a guy like that.

Physical TEs are unguardable right now because of the rules. I'd take Ebron over any CB, WR(outside of Watkins) and QB in this draft.

There are only three positions I'd genuinely be disappointed with drafting though: OL, QB and CB. Everything else is fair game as far as I'm concerned.

You could say that about any position though. Shut down corners are few and far between.

Here's how I look at this draft; the depth at CB, WR, RB, OL and rush OLB is pretty deep. Maybe not so much with ROLB when compared to the other four, but there are guys who will be available in the second round who would interest me. We'd have the opportunity to add the absolute very best TE in this draft and then come around in the second and grab the position that hasn't seen a run yet.

I'm not banging the table for Ebron, but the value is there, IMO.

Of course they are but when one DOES pop up and land in your lap... You take em. Not saying thats true to this year, but in general.

So once Ebron goes to buffalo before us... Who's your pick?

And why disappointment in QB? "Value"? Cuz I'm positive you arnt on the blind locker train.

Rush OLB is deep indeed. Attaochu and Marcus Smith are 2 guys I like later if we miss Barr at 11. I like Trent Murphy too, and bet he sheds the tweener label to become a solid DE. Don't see him as a rush 'backer despite his size.

We already have a guy on the roster with better measurables than Ebron.... Taylor Thompson. If you compare combine stats Thompson is bigger and faster than Ebron. This is the year for Thompson to prove his worth. He has had 2 yrs to learn the TE position.

I just really don't think we need to go TE this draft.

I also just don't think that Ebron is truely an elite prospect like Vernon Davis. Their is a big difference between 4.6 speed that Ebron has and 4.4 speed of Davis. Plenty of Lbers run 4.6 while not many run 4.4. Also a ton of difference between a guy like Jimmy Graham and Ebron. Ebron is only 6'4" and his vertical was just 32" while Graham is 6'6" and has a 38" vertical.

Ebron just doesn't have the elite measurables and if I'm drafting a TE in the top half of the first rnd they have to have some elite measurables.

I am okay with them taking Ebron or Evans (or a big body guy WR) for 2 reasons: Locker's accuracy sucks and that will help him, also it will help the red zone game which we were terrible with. Hell, I would be okay even if they traded back and took Kelvin Benjamin. They need a position player that is an instant impact...Someone that keeps an offense/defense on their toes. The Titans also do not have a legit big WR. I agree with Fry with the CB scenario, they aren't taking one in the first unless somehow a lot of people disappear. I just don't see it happening with the depth at the position this year and BWW/Sens already here.

I personally just see them taking a QB (if their guy falls) or a Pass rusher like Barr. They clearly like Barr and he has visited multiple times apparently. Whiz also dislikes Locker as his future, you can see it in his wording. They will want their guy for the future, and if he is there..They will take him without question. If those two are gone, it's going to get interesting. I wouldn't sleep on a trade back for NT, or a stab at Ebron if people get taken ahead.
