it's not what you make, its what you save. I don't make a whole lot, but I spend even less. I've got plenty of friends who make a lot more than me, but have less money in their name.. because they pay big bills.

I have a spending rule. I can only spend 85% of what I earn each year. The rest is invested.

It worked out for Warner. Then again, Warner isn't lazy retarded selfish stubborn child.

heck yeah man. My house was about 80K in 2008. Got 7500 back from the government for being a first time home buyer.

Decent down payment down, and refinanced about 2-3 years into the loan. My payments now are nearly 450 a month or so. Cheaper than an apartment. It is in a college area (not a bad area at all. safe, moderately quiet neighborhood for being right by a college campus (very small private school, few thousand students).. no complaints.

Plus I can rent it to college kids for a profit, whenever I decide to move out.

Warner was AFL, and he started there when he was only 24. Plus he was undrafted, and never had that good paycheck. And not being a moron really doesn't hurt.

VY is 30, already injury prone, and already saw a taste of the "good life." He's spoiled goods.

Damn that's intense. You couldn't even sniff a mobile trailer in Calgary for $100k. I think the average house price is $563k at the moment and my first house will likely be in the $450ish range. Calgary is an expensive place, you could live on $60k but it really isn't much here.

for 450,000 USD, you could buy a very, very nice house here.

I would be the "most poverty" person in Calgary.

What's he doing now? Exactly what you're doing but going bankrupt. You've got to love the game so much you'd die to play it before you'll ever be great. It's gotta be an everyday thing. VY clearly didn't love playing and that speaks volumes to all the questions of work ethic surrounding him.
