Locker Working to Improve Accuracy

Jake has a lot of talent, its just staying healthy thats been an issue.

Off the top of my head theres 10 teams Jake could beat out the current QB's for the starting gig.

 

I would take Jake over the Bills, Jets, Dolphins, Browns, Texans, Jags, Raiders, Cowboys, Vikings, Buccs, Cardinals current Quarterbacks. These 11 teams I am confident he could also be their starter.

 

Jake is better than Romo and Carson Palmer lol. No.

Glennon, Geno, and EJ Manuel, and Tannehill have all shown more promise than Jake in their first season (first few seasons for Tannehill) and I doubt their teams would retard their development just to start Jake over them because he's such a nice guy.

That leaves the Browns, Texans, Jags, and Raiders and to be honest Jake would still have to win the job in camp. No one is just handing him the starting gig. Yup our starter as of right now is good enough to buy him self a camp battle in Cleveland, Houston, Jacksonville, and Oakland. That says it all.

 

Romo is coming off a serious back injury. Carson is up their in age, and is a turnover machine.

 

I swear It feels like VY all over again just different issues. Talent means nothing if you can't put it all together. He has yet to do that and we are on Year 4!

 

True and true, but Palmer got hot at the end of last year, and Romo is about where I could see Locker eventually getting to.

Romo is a borderline top 10 QB if you can believe it. But if Jason Garrett gets canned and I believe he will, then maybe Jerry Jones cuts everybody and Jake can step in (assuming we dont keep him). Thats really the only way he plays in Dallas IMO

Jake is our best bet, but he's not unseating Romo.

 

Its that #10 jersey. We need to burn that fking thing asap

Locker gets the injury label but Manuel doesn't?
Geno Smith 18tds and 25 turnovers in 16 starts compared to Lockers 26tds and 18 turnovers is better upside?
I would also love Tannehill 39 turnovers in 2 seasons on this team.
Mike Glennon is the only one that that I would consider over Locker.

 

Agreed. I only added them to the list because of the injury. Locker would be a better option though then all the back-ups if Romo wasn't ready or would re-injure his back.
