Ok I am a Titans fan through & through. I have been since I started watching football when they were still in Houston. This team has never had huge names on the roster. Even when we went to the SB we did not have huge names on the roster. They were huge to us, but in reality to the NFL they were not. Once the guys we thought were huge left the Titans they barely made rosters with other teams and then struggled. The fact is we all cried for change at the Coaching level. WE GOT IT. We have a VERY talented and well respected coaching staff that could find another job at the drop of a hat. We have over qualified people coaching positions groups. We should feel very fortunate. This yrs roster is not loaded with bi names, but we have very capable players. Nate has reach 1000yds twice with us, Kendall Wright got to 1000yds last year and looks very promising, Hunter averaged 20yds a catch, Shonn Green as our starting RB I not a nightmare. He has averaged over 1000yds a season every season except last yr when he was injured. Locker has shown potential. I know he will most likely be hurt at some point, but we have to have faith in the quality coaches we have now. They will have a better back up in place for the season than Whitehurst. I see them drafting a quality back up. Most likely in the 4th possibly the 2nd. Our D was great last yr not because of Verner but because they worked together. Verner is not as big a loss as everyone is acting like he is. He made the Pro Bowl once IN A CONTRACT YEAR. I remember another Titan that was similar. We all thought Haynesworth was a huge loss when he got a 100 million dollar payday. I am just saying, if you are a fan be a fan and support your team. Don't run them down. We have one of the best coaching staffs I have ever seen in TN.

 

Saw this on twitter as well and just kind of laughed it off, not even worth a reply back.

We finally have a good coaching staff, we have the talent and will add more during the draft, and now we just have to put it all together. I'm not expecting the playoffs this year but it would be really great to make it back soon, miss the experience.

 

The coaches only job is too get the most production out all the players. In other words, put your players in a position to win.

If you admit these coaches are better, then they will get more out of the players we have. The transition to the 3-4 isn't going to be that rough. Especially if we don't **** it up and take Barr.

That is one of the most overblown arguments that new coaches face("Do the players fit the system?"). They will adapt just like the players will.

They won't try to put the square block into the round hole, this isn't your childhood; this is a professional football team.

 

Okay so maybe I decided to jump in the twitter party.

Basically his reasoning is Locker and Greene, thought this was a ranking of the whole roster?

It's a little more complicated than that. Take Wimbley for example, he was decent in a 3-4 system. In our 4-3 system the last 2 years, he was a complete scrub.

Despite being absolutely wrong, he brings up decent points.
