Based on what? Espn saying so? The media has gotten to a lot of people. He is hyped up for size. Originally pegged for the Houston's new coach that is infatuated with size.

He's like a combination of Luck/Ruthlessraper size wise. But I think the comparison ends there.

I think he will be the equivalent of Locker in the NFL. Maybe slightly better. If he's durable he could at least be a decent QB.

I am so torn on QB at #11. I really want to do it and really don't all at once. And I know that doesn't make sense. We're just in a tough position.

Barr at #11 and be on with it. But I really don't wanna pass on Teddy!!!

If Teddy is there, I'll be disappointed if we pass. I can say "sure pass on Carr, bortles, manziel" but teddy? You gotta take em

I'm not sure I saw the Locker comparison with Bortles. I liked what I saw on tape and think he's the best QB in this draft -- I've been saying no to QB at 11, but if Bortles is there, man that's tough

Ensconatus Teams 12-19 all have franchise QB's that they are committed to. If Bridgewater is still on the board but so is someone like Donald/Lewan that another team is interested in would you trade back 5-6 spots and hope that he keeps falling?

Nope. Teddy at 11 and be done with it. I'm not that much of a betting man when it comes to QB. I'm very hesitant on carrs tape because I'm Projecting he can translate his skills to the next level... And id still draft him at 11 too.

I'd rather win 2 games and have my pick of the litter in the next yrs draft, than spend this yrs No. 11 pick on QB. There is no QB in this yr's draft that is all that special (at least coming out of college). You're basically playing roulette with any of the QBs, cause none of them are anything close to a sure thing.

You're always playing roulette picking a qb. Don't act like just because the media has said "well there's no luck in this draft" that there's any sure things in next years draft either. Because THEY DONT KNOW. There is speculation.

Best example... Locker was once projected as a first over all pick. He then fell to us.... And a lot of people then were calling it a major reach. So sure... Ryan Leaf at 2 next year! Sure things!

Hopefully the Texans select Bortles with their 1st pick. I don't see it happening, but I can just wish.

I think he will be a pretty decent QB, but I just can't endorse Bortles.

Personally, I don't think he even separates himself from Mettenberger, other than he can avoid the rush better. I think there would be better value in drafting Mettenberger in the 2nd that drafting Bortles with the 11th.

anyone else as interested in mettenberger as I am? He has a real fluid throwing motion and has great pocket presence...between him and carr are the only QB's i'd take a chance on..that being said I say go Ebron then hyde in the 2nd...I think we can fill out the Defense via free agency and undrafted players
