Carr and Adams 1 & 2....

Anybody want to lobby for Moncrief over Adams? Adams is obviously a special case because he played with Carr and there would be a comfort and chemistry there but Moncrief is the real deal. How is Moncrief not a first rd prospect?

A shade over 6'2 220 lbs he ran a sub 4.40 40 and had one of the highest verticals in the combine. He was not a big deep threat in college but played with a QB that had only half the arm of a Carr or Locker. Back to back 900+ yard seasons is impressive. He wasn't going to sneak up on anybody last year and produced despite the extra attention.

I like Adams a hair better because of his connection t Carr and because f his unique skills but if you want to pound the table for Moncrief i'm not going to argue.

 

We have 3-4 guys who can play NT. If Dorsey can do a credible job forn the 49ers then we have no issues there. Dorsey is a blown up under tackle bust.

Mookie can play there at 320 lbs. Certainly Casey can play there and might be a terror playing over the center. What center could handle him?

Again for the 500th time we will be in a 4 man front at least 50% of the time. 4-2-5 nickel or 4-1-6 dime.

Why did we sign Woods if not to play NT? He is not a dynamic pass rusher. He played primarily over the center for the Steelers.

We have 5 linemen over 300 lbs under contract so how could NT be a major problem?
