2014 NFL Draft: Pick #11 - OT Taylor Lewan

we should have taken it I bet we were going to get a third for it move back to 26

instead we f'ed ourselves in the bum

 

I wonder who Cleveland thought was about to take Manzeil none of the teams picking before them seemed QB needy and they could have had him at 26. This worries me for our would be QB pick.

 

11th for 26th and a 3rd would have been robbery. They would have needed to offer up more than that.

Now that this has happened to us again, I think this proves the point that me and a lot of others on this board have tried to make that if your team isn't going to the playoffs, it's best to try to lose out. We were ONE pick away from Ebron but got stuck with Lewan. We were ONE pick away from JPP but got Morgan.

I haven't been so disappointed with the first round of the draft in years. I knew we wouldn't take a QB but... I never saw this dumb **** coming.

 

I may not watch the first four games of the year as a self imposed suspension in anger to the pick.

 

I'd still rather win. F all that tanking talk.
