It'll be a big mistake if he continues to be in legal trouble, that's obvious. We clearly believe he won't.

 

So take this for what it is: Taylor Lewan is a terrible pick. Especially in round 1.

Most Michigan fans dislike Lewan and for good reason. He's not a team player, he's injury prone, and he's extremely overrated and hasn't been anything worth talking about since before his first knee injury.

Not only that, but the guy is involved in a rape case in which he made threats and had a heavy hand in.


Honestly, this pick blows my mind. 2 overrated offensive linemen weren't enough in Levitre and Oher? Had to add to the pile of garbage?

Lewan would have been a decent (but still head scratching) pick in the 3rd round... but first round?

Even if your goal is to have an amazing line (we've spent FAR too much time/money/effort into that area while having glaring needs)... who are they blocking for? We have no running back. We have no quarter back...



For everyone blowing this new staff- they're off to an awful start. It's painful being emotionally invested in this team.

If this staff had merely asked any casual fan of Michigan if Lewan should be on their team, they would have been better off.

That's not good news. Douche is usually the guy who goes against the board, so it's really scaring me he thought it was a bad pick too. Especially being a Michigan fan. :(

 

I think this is the most disappointed I have been since Jenna Jameson retired.

That alone should be reason to not draft someone- much less in the first round.
