2014 NFL Draft: Pick #11 - OT Taylor Lewan

Exactly. The two arguments I keep seeing are "he won't play" and "he isn't Johnny Manziel." Nothing really about the kind of player he is. I personally wasn't very high on him, but whatevs.

 

LOL while I haven't come to terms with this yet I can envision the locker phone smash. There will probably be several more phones smashed this year.

But my real question is WHY DID WE DRAFT A REPLACEMENT FIRST. Unless he's taking Oher or Roo's spot this year. DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. Luxury pick when we're a NEED team.

 

I'm sick of people saying "they should have traded back". You obviously didn't watch the draft, they said specifically that they tried with the Browns and it fell apart at the last moment. At least be informed if you're going to open your mouth...

 

People have been saying how great our o-line was going to be the past five years. I just don't get how we can justify this as fans. Two years in a row drafting O-Line when right now its not a need its BPA

 

My guess is that the value/need didn't line up. There were basically 3 pass rushers early on and each were taken before we picked. The need was and is there, but the player wasn't.

 

I'm not questioning that title he got us.Believe that homie. Don't be saying dumb $%#@ about the guy who brought us back to the promise land. Bring him to the Titans next year, he can get as many crab legs as he wants as Locker will be out of town after another losing season.
