He's known to be a "bad character" guy. Not just with his rape case, assault case, etc- but in the Locker room. Definitely not a leader by any means.

He's talented. He shut down Clowney like it was nothing, but I think Clowney is about the most overrated lazy player in years, so who knows what that says. Stop Clowney once and he'll take the rest of the game off.

He plays with an edge, but gets him in trouble far too often. Some games it seemed like it was his mission to get penalties.

Overall, he's just nowhere near worth a first round pick.

    Maybe a 3rd, but I'd still cringe.

Our options were limited when Gilbert/Barr/Ebron went. We didn't panic and simply took the BPA. There's nothing wrong with that.

I believe trade options were limited. We probably thought there'd be a higher level of interest for JFF. Clearly not. He went 22. No one wanted to trade for 11. Dolphins needed a LT but seemed content reaching for JaWuan James. We thought Jets may trade up for a WR (or any more offensive help really) but they seemed content to sit pat and draft another DB. 49ers also seemed content to take DB at 30 instead of trading up for WR.

We made the best move possible. Talking about getting alright LT later like Kouandjio (who sucks), Moses or Tiny, yea, good luck blocking Watt/Clowney with "alright" Tackles.

Great Quarterbacks...I know you wanted me to say first round draft picks but their QB and/or defense was the reason for their success.

Quarterback is irrelevant for this discussion as there were none even remotely worth drafting at #11. So my point is still valid, even the top teams spend 1st round picks on the OL, so it's not such a dumb idea.

It was a terrible idea. We should have drafted CJ Mosley!

Dude we have a logjam at linebacker already and sorry, Mosley isn't a significant upgrade. That would have been a terrible pick!

I wouldn't have hated Mosley, but at #11? no....He went where he did for a reason. He also has had injury issues all over the place, and is average size. He is efficient, but nothing special, and we are loaded (like the players or not) at linebacker more than OT. I would have taken Lewan too.

We are talking football and someone said "talking qb is irrelevant for this discussion". Actually football is to the point talking anything but qb is irrelevant. The rule book has been rewritten to make the position a deity.

No QB worth #11. Not even close
