I disagree. Both Teddy and Carr were worth the #11 pick. They'll prove it next season. Carr will be a huge value for whoever gets him.

Well the board says they would have been reaches though. Teddy doesn't go 1st round unless a team trades to the very last pick of the round -- Carr doesn't go 1st round, and may not go in the 30s at all. I'd like Carr at 42

A guy is only a reach if he doesn't work out. If you get your QB and he balls out no one cares whether you got him at pick#11 or #55. Russell Wilson would have been considered a reach even in the 2nd round the year he was taken.

I am glad to see our pick graded as low as d this morning with the highest I've seen a b minus at cbs. Even they said pick could blow up in our face for legal issues. This is the same team that passed on randy moss for character issues for dyson. Then turned around and got pacman. Ugh, it's hard being a titans fan sometimes. I just cannot get over us drafting the one person with all this baggage.

I can't believe the negativity on this forum, it disgusts me. People bit#$ and complain about Oher and our OL, so we go get a top 2 guy and a bunch of people are livid. QB's have been endlessly talked about, and now all of a sudden, people feel we should have reached when just days ago, everyone wanted to turn their back if we took one because A) it's too early B) the class sucks and C) Locker is starting anyway. We got a DAY 1 starter that is proven! We needed both depth and performance. Roos and Oher are not even as good as Lewan. MAYBE Roos, but he is aging and will be gone. Tell me this, with that kind of pass protection, how great do you think Carr or Bridgewater would be anyway???! Come on people...Stop flipping out. This could have been WAY more disasterous. He has character issues just like 80% of the league, and he is a lineman, not our future QB or MLB. This was not a reach, be thankful! I saw way worse picks both in front of us and behind us. The fact that some douchebag analyst gave us a D is idiotic. Robinson and Mathews got B+ and A- and Lewan is on their level. We got a D because we are Tennessee and small market/rebuilding, NOT because this pick sucked.

We got Roos in the 2nd by luck, typically that scenario never presents itself. And in all fairness Dave Stewart was a RT, little different.

I guess....Because taking someone "Flashy" improves a franchise...Learn the game buddy, a QB on his back in inefective. This is coming from a guy that wants his team to fail to add a potential #1 pick that may or may not become something>! GTFOH with that bs
