2014 NFL Draft: Day 2

Well I didn't mind his tape but I really wanted Hyde. Also surprised we passed on nix.

I had a feeling we were going with a rb like this. Good catching ability. He at least had the best pound out of the rbs his size.

 

Good pick. Qb depth in the 4 th.

 

Sankey is a character guy, sick work ethic, leadership type. Phenomenal pick in my opinion.

 

Like it. Good fit. Should be a nice complement to Greene/McCluster.

 

Sankey was an awesome pick! Being from the northwest I watched him his entire career. STUD

 

We're not drafting a QB this year. There's no use in drafting one in the 4th. No one in the 4th or later will ever be your franchise QB.

 

Did the Bengals really need a RB? Not a good pick IMO.

 

Hmm Hyde the better of the 2 prospect and from OHIO STATE aka Eddie Eddie ha ...

ESPN sounded high on Sankey.

Positives: Speed, toughness, comes from a strong military background family, leader, a guy you want on your team, finds the holes and uses his quick feet to burst through, can catch the ball good

Only real glaring negative - hes not a power back, small at 5'9 but hes 200 lbs.

Mel Kiper compares him to Giovanni Bernard? Eh not bad - could be worse.

Hmm - new record longest RB not taken in a NFL Draft.

Probably wished we got Hyde but at least we got a back now. I'll take it.
