2014 NFL Draft: Day 3

Its his injuries. Taken off the field via ambulance his freshman year in 2007. Broken thumb in 2008. Broken ribs 2010. Sits 2011 rookie year. Dislocated shoulder 2012. Foot surgery in 2013.

 

I thought the reports were that he was ahead of schedule.

Either way, he is still worth it this late.

The Niners took Lattimore in the 4th last year... Not for an immediate impact, but for the future.

 

Oh yeah, I forgot about Tajh Boyd.

He once was Scarecrow's boy.

 

If we can get Murray at this point, I would do it. 6th round? Hurts NOTHING

Never seen someones stock drop so greatly.

 

I don't even consider 6th and 7th round picks- real picks.

And has seastrunk been drafted? Did I miss it? I'd love seastrunk in the 6th. Lightening in a bottle

 

I am to the point that I am fine with talking almost any QB (after Murray) at this point.

Obviously this late in the drafts teams are thinking purely backup... but you never know what can happen.

As I've said, we don't want Clipboard Jesus taking over if and when Locker goes down. Maybe Murray (or whoever we could possibly take) is only the #3 for this season, but in 2015 you never know what he could do.

I have to think QBs are just off our radar at this point. We would've taken one if we wanted to, I think. I hope I'm wrong though.

At worst, the QB doesn't look any good in camp and makes no progress so we go QB in the 1st next year.

The pros outweigh the cons. Just because you take a QB here doesn't mean you can't do the same in the 1st next year.

 

We need to take a swing at murray. Right meow!

 

Surely one of these teams takes Murray or a QB this late in the draft...

Chiefs, Bengals, Rams, Saints, etc.
