He picks a throw that's 1... easy. And 2... you can't see the ball. Good job, RT!

He throws TONS of floaters. Go back and watch the Oklahoma game. We were all laughing at the bar because anytime he'd throw on 3rd and long it was hilarious.

He doesn't stand a chance of playing anyway.

Hell, the last overrated mediocre QB from Alabama had a better chance. (McElroy)

Plus, any campus star QB that is whipped by a girl can't lead a football team.

the failed drug test was a diluted sample basically meaning they didn't find drugs in it but it was so watered down to contain anything....which the doctors said happens when you are told to drink a ton of water when your recovering from an injury

I am totally on board with the pick. No expectations from a 6th rounder. The picks are worthless as dirt. So if he's another Rusty Smith, then no loss at all.

It's a good risk to take considering how little it cost. I wouldn't have been surprised for them to have taken him in the 4th. 6th is the best possible scenario.y

It was always LOLable that he was considered a 2nd round prospect.

And I do drug testing for a living. Dilute sanples happen all the time on people who are well hydrated. People do abuse the system by overloading themselves with water, but mettenberger having a dilute sample is far from a guilty verdict. Usually companies immediately retest.

Mettenberger didn't have his ACL surgery until January even though he was injured in November. He's going on the PUP list for this season. No way he sees the field this year.

Which NFL people consider a "failed" test. The excuse from Mett's camp is that his physical therapist had him drinking tons of water and that was the reason the sample was diluted. No idea if that's actually a plausible excuse, but if he did indeed cheat the test then that's worrisome.

The sexual battery stuff happened when he was 17 and as far as I've heard he's had no issues of that severity since. If he keeps his nose clean, I see no reason to be overly concerned at this point.
