Mettenberger...high praise from Cameron

    I want Jake to excel and be our franchise guy. I just was amazed at the praise that Cam Cameron was giving Mettenburger. I've always thought that Cameron was very good at developing QBs. He has worked with some top notch guys early in their careers. So I respect his opinion. He certainly knows what it takes to succeed.

    I have not researched Mettenberger very much. I really kind of thought that he was probably a lazy QB who used his physical skills to get him to this point. I didn't realize that he really was a gym/film rat sort of guy.

    Do we know for sure why he had the diluted urine test? Was it recreational drugs? or could it have been that he was taking some PEDs to help him heal quicker from his surgery and he needed to dilute them. I'd feel better if it was the later.

    You would pick one of the worst to say they'd compete with Locker. Though you wouldn't be wrong.

    Bortles would beat Locker out.
    Carr would beat Locker out.
    Manziel would... even though he sucks more than Locker-- hype and ticket sales would do it.
    Murray would.
    Fales would.

    And then yes, Bridgewater probably would. Along with Mettenberger if given a fair chance.


    Locker sucks, dude. Let it go...

    During the recovery of an acl tear, a player is subject to cramps. Report was that he was advised to drink multiple gallons of water a day to combat the cramps. This lead to a diluted test which by nfl standards, counts as a failed test.
