Can Whisenhunt make Locker a pocket passer?

Yeah, well he's going to root against any QB not named Vince Young.

 

Way I see it, Locker getting his injury woes behind him and taking that next step as a QB is what's best for 1) Jake Locker, 2) the Titans, 3) the fans. It's a win-win-win.

I WANT him to be the guy. He's got the right attitude. People like him. He's a great athlete. He's shown flashes of being a great passer. I just wouldn't bet more than $5 that he plays >60% of the season.

 

Yeah, I don't think anyone on here actually wants Jake to fail. Many just doubt he will succeed. I could list some guys people on here actually wanted to see fail. There is a difference.

 

Locker is a smart, capable player. Whis can make him fit any type Offense we need.

 

I like Jake and his attitude, but I am definitely not 100% positive and confident in him because he can't stay healthy. I am behind him and the team, and I really hope this year gets him over the hump, and I think most people on here want him to as well.

 

I like Jakes skillset, he wouldn't be here today if he couldn't play. A little luck and he doesn't go down with injuries and I really believe we have our QB.

 

I want him to be successful myself because that means we will win games and I have prob been the most negative out of anyone. I will root hard for the guy but I am not holding my breath on his accuracy.

 

God owes us one, he gave Trent F**king Dilfer a super bowl title, he can work his magic to keep Jake healthy all year.
