Absolutely not. Wright doesn't have the break away speed to get away from defenders like that for a long period of time. He is quick and shifty and has good moves but lacks the top end speed.

He averaged 8.2 yards a catch. Our "best" WR last year only averaged 11.5. That's saying something.

Wow so CJ isn't even the best pass catcher on last year's team.
You're strengthening your stance with each one of these.. LOL

Well then you'd be wrong. Remember, YOU asked....

26 RBs caught 35 or more balls last year.
Of those 26 RBs, CJ is tied for 15th in YPC.

And again, if we were to take away that complete fluke/busted play FitzMAGIC improvised on it drops his total average by a full yard and he would've ranked 22nd out of the 26 RBs who caught 35+ balls. L. O. Freaking. L.

The guy is simply not the playmaker you want him to be. Get over it already.

those two plays you speak of were all running and little to no receiving, hardily worth promoting as receiving plays.

true about they happened and they count

that 30 yarder on the sideline was a complete fluke though

I just wish the little guy would catch the dump offs. Then on the odd occasion he did catch them he did next to nothing with the 'space'

after getting paid :cj:'s production could be achieved with street FAs

he brought nothing extra - zip. Not a thing. Any NFL caliber RB, wether in the NFL or not, could have been at least as productive given all those touches

    yep

any player getting that many touches would in fact get that much production.

throughout his career :cj: scores a TD every 35 runs
throughout his career :cj: gets a TD every 34 receptions.

So over 6 seasons the little guy touched the rock 2014 times and scored 58 TDs. Once every 35 touches.

BUT over the last 3 seasons those numbers are 952 touches and 20 TDs. Once every 48 touches.

More importantly in 2013 :cj: ran 279 times and caught 42 passes for 10 total TDs. One TD every 32 touches. WOW the little guy is gettin' it done right?

    well no!

just to show how bad the above numbers were I have taken the 2013 NFL stats and removed :cj:s runs and catches from the stats.

So the NFL, minus :cj:, had 24652 touches and scored 1204 TDs. Making a TD every 20 touches.

fact is since he got paid :cj: has been worse than average - much worse. I say there are plenty of people working at Walmart who could have stepped in and done as turrible

I am enjoying the fact that you are completely ignoring those 4 recieving TDs are the first ones the micro midget has had since 2010 and they doubled his previous recieving TD total. The little guys should thank Fitzpatrick, but I'm sure hes delusional about it just like you
