VY wasn't terrible but at best he was maybe the 20th best quarterback and that's being generous. It's time to move on, it's not like we missed out on a 1st ballot HOF, 3 years later we're still talking about a mediocre quarterback who's baggage outweighed his talent.

A very scary possibility is that if we didn't draft VY, Fisher might still be head coach.

 

Yes VY had his issues but when he was playing well he was exciting to watch.

The big mistake they made with VY was not keeping McNair to mentor him....I believe we would have seen a different VY had he been studying under McNair for a year or 2.

 

Could that have been any worse than wasting three years with Munch? Fisher was at least a good head coach here at one time. Munch's three years were totally rudderless.
