I hope CJ does well. I hope he gets 1500 yards at 5.0 YPC next season, and the two after that.

Can you imagine how much fun these forums would be?!?!?!

    TWW would be this guy

    :tj:

Saying "I told you so", before the last thread about CJ would be made.

He did catch the dumpoffs. He doesn't drop the ball that much. Last season he had an 81 percent catch rate. Prolly top 5 for rb's with over 40 catches.

No because they were actually involving him the passing game more. It's not CJ's fault he doesn't get carries near the goal line. He has a high success rate down there too.

Also if you want to start judging players based on TD's per touch, then Wright is the worst on our team.

I'm on my phone right now. But all you have to do is go to any one of the number of sites that keeps track of NFL stats. I was looking at yahoo.

I can't categorize leaders in receiving yards by rb's on NFL or ESPN I'll try yahoo

He's actually 12th. So I was wrong. But he is also 3rd in td's. So he was effective in that aspect.

No. Although I was wrong in saying 15th initially. He is actually tied for 14th (w/ Fred Jackson).

Yeah, he is 3rd in REC TDs. But you were the one who brought up the receiving AVG. Now you wanna talk about TDs because you've been proven wrong on the AVG stat.

While we're talking about other stats, he's also 30th in 1st down receptions. So that should tell you something in regards to his actual effectiveness as a receiver as well as how the numbers are skewed heavily by two big plays.

Can you honestly tell me you believe CJ is anything more than average as a receiving threat?

He is a good receiving threat for a team that knows how to execute screens. I bet he has his best year receiving this year in NY.
