    Yeah Munchak's hire was on Bud. But I think Bud realized his days on earth were numbered and he believed one of "his guys" could win without transition down-time. It was not a bold move on Bud's part, but hey- he does own the team so it was his prerogative.

    I am hoping this will be the case with several of our "used to be hopefulls".

    I don't think buttmunch inspired people to do their best. I don't believe buttmunch demamded excellence. I don't believe the team feared disappointing buttmunch.

    I feel the exact opposite will prove to be true with Whis and Horton.

    Pure speculation....

    I'm gonna be extra excited if Martin becomes what we originally hoped this year. Been waiting for him to break out.

    I agree with at least some level of "fear"...though feel it is mostly around loss of starting position...or even a position on the team period. I hope Whiz is being sincere when he says basically that everyone is trying out. With only a couple of exceptions I think that is a very good thing. Earn it....own it....or go do it with someone else.
