Kendall Wright's "streetball"?

Only problem is if Kendall beats them in the first 5 yards by the time he's down field the corner will already have caught up with him. I've seen it happen numerous of times. In college he was fast enough to get by but now that will never be part of his game. Which I've said is ok. He will be a beast slot WR used around the los.

 

Anddddd he had his best season yet. His rookie year they tried that and failed.

 

This is my biggest fear with Whiz. It seems as though he is trying to force players to play into his system instead of adapting his system to the players he has. That is never a good thing to do as a coach.

 

Does it really surprise any of us that Munchak had Wright doing whatever he wanted? I mean Munchak really had no clue about anything.

 

Kendall can be molded to be nearly any type of player, he needs direction from the coaches.

 

Hopefully you're right. However when you try to mold a player to fit a system you risk ruining the player. Great coaches adapt their system to the players they have. If you keep trying to install a system with the wrong players, you fail miserably aka Fisher in his later years.

 

No good coach is letting the players run the team, you have to have your system then fine tune it accordingly.
