Let's be honest, it was somewhat predictable, but everyone knew that. He's blaming his sh*ty last few years on play calling. Has he ever owned up to anything? Dude is garbage. Hope ny fans & media eat'em up.

He will never be able to handle that kind of media scrutiny... the first bad game he has and starts crying the NY media is going mutilate his face

I agree with him, the play calling was garbage, it was one of my biggest complaints. That said, the guy cannot take any blame whatsoever, pathetic really.

I love CJ & he is absolutely correct.

But dude, put a lid on it. You're no longer in the abyss of the NFL.

Packers won multiple Super Bowls running the same dang play.

:cj: should be blaming execution not playcalling. Those 11 guys on the field that did not do their jobs. :cj: IS included in that group

Ok this thread has run it's course so I'm just going to say something and then ask a hypothetical question that's been on my mind for a long time. CJ was a part of the the problem here. I could argue that the line and play-calling were bigger problem but that doesn't wash away the fact that CJ could have played better and was in fact a part of the problem.

With that out of the way. Imagine you are great RB on a team that is struggling or a talented WR with a crappy QB. From the inside you can see/know that you play calling is bad, your coach isn't getting the team ready to play, and your offensive line can't block anyone. Your individual play has not declined and you are giving it your all to win/produce but the results just don't reflect that. As a notable player on the team though, public perception is that you are a part of the problem.

Do you honestly believe you are part of the problem?

Would you publicly state that you are part of the problem?

If you don't think you are, do you still say it because it is the "right thing to do"?

While I think that the right thing to do is say that you are also a part of the problem, and would probably end up doing it, I gotta be honest and say I would find it pretty hard to say it out loud. Once you say something like that you can't take it back. If you say it without honestly believing it and someone brings it up down the line you can't just say "I didn't believe that, it was just the right thing to say". After you say that you are not only forever tied to the failures of that team but also seen as a key contributor to the failure. How would you handle this situation?

P.S. I am not in the least interested in any kind of CJ conversation/debate and the only reason his name is in this post is because I know some would just assume this was a thinly veiled CJ defense because I have defended him a lot in the past (I assure you it is not).
