For a girl, that's not the worst movie choice even if it sucks.

At least she's not making you watch Pretty Little Liars.

I run into a few of those guys at the horror-cons I work.
Swan is a tiny little guy who you would not recognize on the street and Debra Van Valkenburgh got really old. James Remar seems to be the only one doing stuff anymore (Dexter etc.) and he looks relatively the same.
Ironically David Patrick Kelly - the Rogue with the bottles - is a classically trained, award winning stage actor. He was one of the killers in Wild at Heart appropriately and a few other bad boy roles then kinda disappeared into small role obscurity.
They just don't make movies like they used to. Can you dig it?

Still could be a lot worse.

I have friends (guys) who actually like those movies. I always hear The Hobbit is good, but I hate that genre and LOTR, so I doubt I'll like it.

I was forced into seeing the first Hunger Games, and that was brutal.

The Hobbit movies are horrible compared to LOTR. They're trying to recapture that magic from a decade ago, with mixed results.

    Hunger games.. meh.

Yeah I enjoyed LOTR but these Hobbit movies seems to just be attempting to hit all the exact same bases again - but in a much less interesting fashion.

The Hobbit movies are boring, I want to say they're more for kids but they aren't fun enough to be kids movies.

Coming from someone that hated The Hunger Games, Catching Fire is actually quite good. It's like finally, a director that actually took notes from the criticism about the first one and made an effort to fix those mistakes.

The Hobbit movies and The Hunger Games movies are all good.

I realize it's not constant splosions so probably not going to go over good with this crowd. (Cruds as an exception, just not enough evil in them for him)
