Mettenberger or Whitehurst as our #2 QB

I thought it was a joke too. WOOOW. They sayin they wouldn't be suprised if jake walks away from the game in 2015 cuz he has no fire. Idiots. I'm glad i got banned from there club

They all think Mett is the next Tom Brady. I cannot take that site seriously anymore.

 

I very much doubt any starters will play.

 

It's more the total in yourself stupidity they show.

Exhibit A: "But he is leading the NFL in passing yardage in the preseason, surely he could be the starter in week 1 for at least a few teams. Right?"

 

Mariani was the leading wr his first preseason

 

Mett has shown some solid poise. I'm normally really iffy about QB depth. I'm okay with him if things go badly with jake.

Locker has looked good. Surprisingly good and consistent.

But mettenberger has impressed me and wouldn't be surprised if he's starting sometime this season.

If you give mettenberger the same amount of experience/time as locker, I somewhat believe mett would be the better QB. And I'm not sure it would even be close.

Number one thing that just doesn't normally (and consistently) improve is accuracy. Still seeing some high balls coming from locker. Better than previous years I must admit tho.

I've always been a locker fan... And I hope proves my initial scouting report right.

I however don't want to go into next season giving him a dalton contract.
