We'll go into the season with Charlie as our number 2. But if/when Locker goes down I think Zach will get serious consideration as the new starter.

I agree he has looked solid but Christ it is the preseason and folks are crowning him.

I need to see him on a Sunday before I can feel comfortable.

Luckily Locker's track record we will probably get the opportunity to see him play at some point.

Certain segments of our fan base are acting like he is the future if the franchise. Dial it back a bit folks.

    It is what it is.

Personally, I don't care too much. I don't feel we'll truly grasp what kind of team the Titans are until after the 4th or 5th game.

TC is absolute garbage. Every single time he plays in a game he gets at least 2 penalties. I am sick of people saying he is gifted. Gifted hell, if he doesn't have the common sense to make simple football decisions what gift does he have??? He has contributed though.......... to the penalty yardage of the team! That is ALL he has contributed! CUT THIS JERK NOW!!!! His team mates try to help him by trying to calm the idiot down and next thing you know the jerk is yelling at them??!

On another note, the defense looks HORRIBLE! They have NO attitude on the field. No motivation to stop the run or press in pass coverage. LBers are not creating pressure on the QB or covering well. We have to face it. This team needs to cut bait on the LB group and start with a fresh crop of FA and rookies next year. Top 3 picks next year should all be on defense! Unless of course we have to have a QB.

I get that most people say the switch to the 3-4 takes time, but it has been done very quickly and successfully on other teams. EG- Texans.

As a critique of Sankey a couple weeks ago, I must say he looked the part in this last game. He has definitely made improvements every week and looked really explosive tonight.

Also, we're screwed at CB. Tommie has just lost his head completely, he has actually regressed from his solid sophomore season. Plays like the PR reverse he had are probably what has kept him around so long.

Not better than the Bears' defense... they added Jared Allen, Lamar Houston, and Kyle Fuller in the offseason. They're gonna be a whole lot better.

Every team's defense is leaps and bounds ahead of the Cowboys' though.

I am not worried about us finishing outside the top 20... we were 14th last season. Clearly the transition to the 3-4 is not going as smoothly as we had hoped, but we're not going to be as bad as we've looked. Top 20 defense may be all we need to compete for the AFCS if the offense is as efficient as it is capable of being.

Pretty much how I feel. I'm very concerned. But I also wasn't expecting this to be a seamless transition. I'm looking forward to the season no matter what.

My big worry is that he defense starts to come together late in the season and Horton finally lands a HC job in 2015 and leaves.

If the defense isn't up to par till late in the season, I doubt he will be getting any offers for a head coaching gig.

Yeah, Campbell's attitude toward his teammates was inexcusable and immature. I think it depends on if Whisenhunt sympathizes in any way with TC's perspective on things. Before the little tirade reminiscent of the unmentionable, I would say #37 was maybe 3/2 or 3/1 bad to good, with the margin for error being he tried.

I thought Man, he's blind as a bat but I'll be danged if he don't stick that arm up there, more than once. I think basically the new rule enforcement got the better of him tonight, heck, all preseason long really. Here's an example of a guy that's somewhere between depth and nowhere trying to come up who, a year or two ago, might have made two or three notable coverage plays for the team tonight, but instead is technically at fault and loses his chit - and military people know 'chit' is a real word - and 37 probably just lost his 'chit' to play for this team tonight.

It's like a pass or permission slip, people.

All you can really say is "Tommie Campbell played football tonight.

"And he acted like a b**ch."
