I'm pretty sure I just did. Sounds to me like you can't counter any of my previous points so you decided to diminish the position as a whole. Your statement amounts to "being a top 10 back means nothing". I disagree with that. You just want to find a way to say CJ sucks but the other guys that make up the top 10 are good. Top 11 in most stats means nothing but 3.9 ypc in one season means everything? Got it.

A full time back better be top 10 in all purpose yards.

Bringing it up to prove CJ is worth a damn, in an era where full time backs are few and far between, is a pitiful attempt to polish a turd.

So no, you certainly didn't counter anything.

It's completely fair to say that the last season was an anomaly and it's completely fair to say the reason his YPC was so low was probably because of the injury. It's also completely fair to judge him based on this upcoming season and it will likely either prove that he still has it or doesn't..or he will just be average which is what I'm betting on.

In the end we had to move on from him. It was better for both parties so I don't get the hatred and continuing to talk about him and bash him when we have our new team playing in 5 days.

Ok so I'll ask you does this apply to all the other RB's in the top 10? And if it does, does it prove they all suck in some way or does your brilliant theory only apply to CJ? Because if your way of looking at things applies to CJ it must surely apply to all of them right? Or are you truly saying that nothing any of them did means anything because they're all featured backs?

Agreed on all points. I think he'll be just slightly above average this season though.

Really? Are you playing this dense?

CJs claim to fame is big runs, and when his longest is 30 on the year it's safe to say he isn't doing his job.

Peterson, Charles, Forte, McCoy, gore, Lynch, and all the other backs were back bones of their team. The only part time back was Mathews that stood out.

It's common knowledge that more opportunities will = inflated stats.

But I guess the biggest point to make is that you don't have to wait a month for one of the other backs to make an impact on the game.

I do expect CJ to have a solid year splitting time with Ivory. Part of the reason I drafted him.
