I think you're underestimating how easy the Jags' schedule is.
    - 6 games against AFC South
    - 4 games against NFC East
    - 4 games against AFC North
    - Dolphins & Chargers

On the other hand, I could easily see the Titans making it in the wild card because they have a similarly easy schedule (Chiefs & Jets instead of Dolphins & Chargers). Main reason I picked Jags is because they've got solid coaching with some continuity whereas the Titans are basically starting from scratch this year.

Cowboys are my surprise pick, their defense is cheese so I'm rethinking that pick. I think they'll put up a ton of points though.

Yea we have virtually the same schedule as the Jags... We have the better roster and the better coaching staff, and I am being completely objective when I say that. They have an advantage over us with their DL, as Fry said, but that is it.

I see four losses for the Jags in the AFC South... Colts and Titans should both sweep them.

I see three losses in the AFC North between the Bengals, Ravens, and Steelers.

I see at least two losses in the NFC East against the Eagles and Redskins/Giants. Probably 1-3... stealing a game somewhere in there.

    They'll lose to the Chargers.

That's 11 losses right there... I have them at 5-11. They'll be better than last year, but that's not saying much.

Cowboys are a joke and will have the worst defense in the history of the NFL this year. Jason Garrett is gone by week 10 at the latest. This is gonna be like Wade Phillips' last season. Wheels are going to fall off.

People are on the Jags as a 'surprise pick' because of Bortles. They just need some rookie QB to jump on with this year because there really aren't many high picks. Manziel hasn't looked good at all in preseason so they can't jump on him yet

All this sudden Jagrag love is really shocking. I saw a tweet that said Peter King said they were the most surprising team of all the camps he visited. It's Peter King but still.

    I guess we'll find out....

Well for a team that needs to have Blake Bortles be awesome this year to win but at the same time suggested they wanted him to sit this whole year, I'm not sure I'd call there staff solid. In addition, this is the team that thought Gabbert really had it...cherry picking a stat or 2 to lead them to that conclusion (ignoring the zillions of other stats that proved the obvious) to keep him to be their starter for 2013.

The Jags DL is certainly much better, but there offense is much more of a work in progress than ours. Now if you were a Jags fan, you might say our Defense is similarly a work in progress, but I think our team is noticeably better than theirs.

A lot of how we do revolves around how well we play against our division. We've had 2 leads against the 'best' team in the Colts but have also lost to the Jags...the least talented team. We can play with all the teams in our division, but we need to sweep the Jags and probably the Texans if we want to think about winning the division. That would also include splitting with the Colts at least. I think the Colts would look at things similarly except they'd be 'expecting' to sweep all of us and be looking for a 1st or 2nd place finish in the AFC.

Hard to imagine Denver and the Pats not being 1 and 2 and you figure the others 4 spots are gonna be between Colts, KC, Titans, SD, Pitt, Ravens, Bengals, and Steelers. That's 8 teams fighting for 4 spots!
