Week 1: Predict the score vs Kansas City

Who will they even have at WR this week? Is Avery starting? Lol

I'm most worried about Charles, De'Anthony Thomas, and Travis Kelce... and their front 7.

 

Yea, Avery will be starting as their #1. Honestly, the Chiefs have lots of injuries and lost a lot of players. We really need to take advantage and win this one. With Flowers gone, Wright will be lining up against essential their #2, leaving Hunter being covered by their #3 (prior to Flowers' departure). I expect a big game from Hunter. They have a good front 7, it'll be a test for our OL. If they can hold up and the D can tackle Charles we should win.

Honestly, Charles is my only concern. Also, their OL is depleted, Casey should get a couple sacks. I don't like our chances against teams with a good WR core, but this will be a good opportunity to build confidence early.

 

Lets not sleep on their TE's, not a bad pair.

 

42-21 Titans. Whiz's offense with the likes of Justin Hunter (all he does is catch TDs) and McCluster is going to be too much for the Chiefs

As bad as the Titans defense has been the Chiefs offense has been much worse. Jamal Charles is about all the have. Alex Smith has shown he can be a decent game manager when surrounded by talent but he cannot carry a team Tom Brady style. The Chiefs offensive line is beyond horrible and Smith has no one to throw to outside Jamal Charles. Bowe is suspended for this game.

On the other side the Chiefs have an excellent front seven.

 

I think the chefs go up early. Our D has blown chunks right out the gates this whole pre season but they figure chit out and start making stops just in time for them to be pulled from the games (pre season). I think we come from behind to win as long as Locker and the O keep us close. Plus.... we have yet to see this D with a weeks worth of game planning. Areas of Weekness can be compensated for.
