How do you mean? Bud traditionally hired head coaches outside of the organization. I guess it's fun to kick a dude when he's dead but I wish people would at least be factual in any criticisms.

I am just glad shocked everybody. They were still riding on what KC did last year.

 

The two RBs I didn't want but got because of **** connection didn't do a damn thing. Then the 49ers happened.

There is no kicking a dude when he is dead...get over yourself. I seem to remember that Munchak spent a bit of time with the team before becoming the head coach...like, say, 30 years. Other older hires had pretty strong Houston ties as well (Jack Pardee comes to mind, coming from U of Houston before the Oilers). I also remember Adams replacing Jeff Diamond as team president in 2000 (after we went to the Super Bowl) with his own grandson, which still sticks out to me as a key negative turning point for the franchise.

Face it, there was a marked difference in coaching today, and it was largely because our staff was not inundated with Oiler/Titan alumni.

While not related to this game, I would like to point out that Jacksonville gave up 34 unanswered in 2nd half. LOL!

 

Has much as I used to like Cj. It was nice to see the rb's fall forward even on short gains and not dance in the backfield
