Well, it appears that today's video told a different story than the one that everyone got from Ray and his little gold digger princess.

Instead of of focusing on what a POS Ray Rice is, why doesn't everybody address the real issue of why women CHOOSE relationships with these F*cknts?

Testosterone filled guys hit anything in front of them when they are pissed or stimulated. How about empowering women to choose DECENT well behaved persons with whom to have relationships? Or how to EXIT the relationship once it is clear this person is physically abusive. Part of societies problem is that we foster the idea of victimization rather than empower a person to change their situation.

The girl went and married him after this event occurred. She has some degree of culpability in this entire affair (as she admitted).

And although I care about human rights, I don't care to have domestic abuse become the major discussion in sports.

Now that their is public outrage, no doubt we'll see arbitrary Goodell come back for a "re-do" on his former decision. Goodell is an arbitrary POS and should have NEVER instituted a policy that SUPERSEDED our legal system. I took a lot of chit from people on this board when I pointed that out years ago. Now this chicken has come home to roost.

Understand this perspective, and I have not called him a POS. I have, however, said that there is no excuse for what he did. Do you think that testosterone or the woman's poor choices justify what he did?

I agree that the woman has some culpability in this (mostly after the fact) because of her choice to marry him after this, but also because I have heard (on NFL Radio this afternoon) that she apparently really sold the story about her provoking Rice (which I am just not seeing any indication of on the video) to Goodell et.al. However, whatever thought I give to this just comes back to this one thing...there is no excuse for what he did.

You say that Goodell should not institute a system that supersedes the legal system. If that model was in place, nothing (including the 2 game suspension) would have happened because basically the charges were dropped. Would you have been alright with that outcome in this case, given what has been publicly disclosed at this point?

I'd bet his childhood had more to do with his actions than testosterone.
