Lol, my granny used to make me go and pick the switch. If I picked a small one, she would go find the biggest one and light me up.

I didn't even know what a "switch" was...

I was rarely spanked, never beaten.

My mom use boil water... A few first degree burns here and there but nothing major..

 

very unfortunate she didn't start off with a coat hanger

 

My ass was beaten with a belt, because dad was boss, and if you did something wrong, you knew it.

Only thing i ever got close to being properly beaten though, was smacked on the face. and i think that was once from dad, and a few times from mom because she was drunk, and i was a teenager. bleh, i don't miss those days.

But a good ass whoopin' never hurt me, helped me get the mentality of "Holy **** i don't wanna get in trouble", even though trouble finds me, when i've done nothing wrong. lol

 

Ouch. that wasn't a burn, that was a scorch.

 

And Roger Goodell breathes a sigh of relief.

I got whooped with switches and belts on the reg as a kid. Still, maybe AP took it too far. I haven't really heard all the details yet.

 

I always liked it when my mom would take the slipper off her foot.

I would pretend to cry, but it didn't actually hurt.

I just didn't want her to use the belt or the hanger.
