It's not just the butts in the seat though. It's the actual fan noise. Titans no doubt had more fans in the stadium but Dallas' fans were noticeably louder than ours for the vast majority of the day.

Too many of our fans just don't give AF. Which is their prerogative. But how about just don't go to the damn games if you're not going to bother to support the team?

    It's really hard.

I have been to a few games where we have been blown out. It was impossible for me to stay into it.

Jake handicapped the whole team from the outset and if it weren't for him it wouldn't have been so bad. We sacked Romo 3 times and forced a fumble in the first quarter. Unfortunately we couldn't even get a flippin first down thanks to our "franchise QB".

Of course it spiraled from there. But not too surprising. Defense is eventually going to break when they can't ever get a breather.

Jaguars will always hold that trophy.

The only trophy they will ever hold.

The defense gave up over 100 yards rushing in the first half alone. Sure, the offense did nothing to help but the interior defense went back to the same level of play we saw in the preseason from the first-team.

    BTW, where were you sitting?

Everyone in my section was on their feet and loud after the Titans scored a TD when the defense came back out. I believe that was another long drive by the Cowboys which ended up another TD.

I agree with that....it is pretty easy to score good seats for Titan games (do it quite a bit myself).

Prefacing that I have a world of respect for the folks (who are not on site today because they were at the game) who attend, why is it different for us than for other perennial second-tier teams (like, say, the Browns)? Their games seem to be much better attended by Brown fans. Also, up here in Wisconsin the Packers are always sold out with Packer fans, and they have not always been that good.

I get the "we will show up when there is something to see" argument, but it is not like that in other locations.

I get the whole "fans aren't supporting this piss poor product" argument, but as a big fan, It's hard for me to watch that stadium full of non Titan fans. I find that very very embarrassing, and I have no ties to TN outside of being a Titans fan; It still bothers me a lot as a big sports (and Titans) fan in general. Home field should NOT look like that, a home opener at that. That was pathetic.

Yeah, I don't get how teams can have bad seasons and still sell out games.

But here, everyone's like "Oh i'll go when they get good again."

If I could afford it, i'd be at every game, because I support this team, even if they're massive failures half the time. Oh, but UT loses all the time and they still sell out their damned games.

As someone who has gone to bars in most sections of this country to watch the Titans on Sunday, I can probably count on one hand the number of times that I was not the only Titan fan in the bar. Jags may have less, but we are not too far away IMO.
