Is this the 3rd or 4th time we have seen this ridiculous schoolboy comment?

 

It would be nice to just see a little consistency from Jake. Some of the throws that he threw were just inexcusable. Almost mind boggling how you can completely miss a wide open guy when you devote your entire life to football, and play in the NFL.

Might as well go play down the road at Vandy.

 

Pollard needs to stfu, I'm getting more tired of that **** than Lockers throwing abilities.

 

I don't think Locker is a guy that is going to be able to lead your team anywhere. He was missing throws out there that I could have made. That was some of the worst passing I have ever seen in my life.

 

100% agreed.His issue is he can't hit a moving target in the middle to save his life. Usually he can hit curls and even some deep outs but anything over the middle of the field just doesn't work for him. He's not going to "develop" any more. He is what he is. Even average QB's like Geno Smith have progressed more.

 

That first interception just killed me. I didn't even realize who he was targeting until they showed the replay. One of the most inaccurate passes I have ever seen in my life, and he wasn't even under pressure.

 

I know for a fact that Metts could complete everyone of those throws and won us the game, say what you want because Whitehurst could of too because they were WIDE OPEN... this game is not on our coaching staff, O Line, Defense, or Special teams.... Its on locker alone with ample time in the pocket and to air mail that ****, its hard for the defense to contain an offense that is on the field for 35+ min....

 

If KC pulls out the upset and beats DEN what does that say about us?

This is the point I was trying to make in that ridiculous "OMG THIS IS A MUST-WIN" thread. After one week of football we know very little about each team. Maybe KC ain't so bad. Maybe Dallas ain't so bad. Maybe we ain't so bad.

We had a bad day, but it happens. The sky is not falling. This is a momentum game and we just couldn't get any going today. If one of our receivers bails Jake out with a tough catch then maybe that swings momentum. If Pollard doesn't drop that INT and takes it to the house that's a HUGE momentum shift.

I am worried about Jake (what's new?) but I know this team is a work in progress and truly believe we're on the right path. I think a lot of fans had much too lofty expectations for this team. I mean, we are TWO games in to a BRAND NEW regime. Brand new offensive system. Brand new defensive system. Brand new culture. The vast majority of teams in our situation encounter some bumps in the road.

If we keep playing like this in the coming weeks, then sure, go ahead and hit the panic button. But there's plenty of time left in the season and if our QB doesn't completely handicap our team today we're probably sitting at 2-0.
